Step 1:

Locate your platform panel and hydraulic sewing lift

Step 2:

Screw the hydraulic lift to the platform using the assigned 4 screws

*When you turn the platform and lift over, the cables and cylinder face the back of the cabinet*

Step 3:

Spray your hydraulic lift with WD-40-spray the pulley wheels, cylinder, rod pin and spring. Ensure the spring is attached and the pin it is connected to moves (video attached to demonstrate)

Step 4:

Cut the zip tie on the wooden block, but DO NOT REMOVE the block yet. If your wooden block pops out, you'll need to install the lift via the Alternate Lift Installation method.

Step 5:

Grab the lift and position it to guide it onto each of the rails. The rails need to be inserted into the slit in the white plastic guides (2 on each side of the lifter). As you lower the lift with the glides around the rails, you will guide the cables into the notches in the top of the lift rails. The metal square end piece will hold the cables onto the rails.

Proper white glide assembly

Cables goes into the notch of each rail and the square, metal end sits atop the rail notch

Step 6:

Once you have confirmed the white glides are hugging the rails and the cable ends are secured into the rail notches, push down on the lift to lower into the first locking position. This pulls the cylinder back to release the wooden block.

*If your block does not come out at this point, move on with assembly and once the cabinet is completely assembled, you can push the lift into the storage position to pull the cylinder even farther back to release the wooden block. DO NOT ADJUST THE LIFT POSITION UNTIL THE CABINET IS FULLY ASSEMBLED OR YOU RISK THE LIFT COMING OUT AND CABLES BECOMING DISENGAGED.
