Our electric lift can be modified to allow more clearance to store the new Bernina 990 sewing machine. Follow the steps below to make the adjustment to add height to the storage position.
1. Move the lifter upward to expose the lower set point stopper.
2. Using a Phillipshead # 2 screw driver, remove the 2 screws holding the lower set point stopper
3. Your lift should now have a storage clearance of around 17", enough to store the Bernina 990
