If the top drawer on your Kookaburra cutting table is hitting the top panel, then the cabinet shell was assembled upside down and you will need to reassemble the unit to get the drawers to close properly. The steps below will walk you through the process of reassembling the cutting table.





  1. Remove the drawers from the rails and the shelf panels
  2. Remove cam covers from cam locks
  3. Unlock 10 cam locks from the top on the sides of the X and Z panels and top 2 of panel Y
  4. Remove top, set aside
  5. Unscrew gate legs from side panels X and Z, set aside, keep screws together
  6. Unlock 10 cam locks from bottom of panel X, Y and Z
  7. Remove assembled panels X, Y and Z from the bottom panel G and set aside
  8. The top of panel X and Z should measure approximately 3.5” from top of panel to top of rail
  9. The bottom of panel X and Z should measure approximately 2.3” from bottom of panel to bottom of rail
  10. Panel G should affix to panels X, Y and Z with the panel/rail measurement of 2.3” on the bottom
  11. Lock cam locks on panels X, Y and Z to secure panel G
  12. Replace gate legs and screw into pre-drilled holes.
  13. Place top assembly on panel assembly of X, Y and Z and lock cam locks
  14. Apply cam covers over cam locks
  15. Replace drawers and shelf panels

Panel G should have approximately 18 5/8” of space from the Y panel to the edge of panel G for the shelves and 17 ¼” of space from the Y panel to the edge of panel G for the drawers.
