Will my machine fit the opening of the Gidget I table?
The Gidget I sewing table features a small opening for sewing machines that do not exceed 17 3/4" W x 7 1/2" D. If your machine is equal to or less than those measurements, it will fit the opening.
Can an insert be made for my sewing machine?
If there is at least 1 1/2" of space between your machine bed and the edge of the opening in the Gidget I onthe front, left and back sides, it is possible for a C-shaped custom insert to be made. If there is at least 1 1/2" gap on two sides, a J or L shaped filler may be available. The insert for the Gidget I table will have a lip to catch onto the table top approximately 1/8" in thickness. We recommend measuring your machine including the cord (up to the point where it is bendable) to ensure a comfortable and proper fit.
Must I have a custom insert to sew in the Gidget I table?
No. It is not necessary to order a custom insert for the Gidget I table. You can move your machine to the left and forward for your fabric to be supported.
