Sometimes during the manufacturing process, the cam bolt anchors are placed in the incorrect hole for assembly. We apologize this has occurred and have found a way to quickly reset the anchor to keep you moving forward with building your new sewing furniture.


 


Step 1

Remove the cam bolt and put protective tape (masking or painters tape works best) around the cam anchor. This will protect the panel finish during removal. 



Step 2

Thread the cam bolt but not completely-just enough that it catches and you can put a hammer's claw around the bolt. Make sure the panel is on the floor and you place your foot on the panel to hold into position, it works best to give you the most leverage when pulling out:





Step 3

Remove tape from the panel. Remove the cam anchor from the bolt and place into the correct hole. Cover with a cloth and tap the anchor flush with the panel. 





Step 4

The anchor is now ready for the cam bolt. The previous hole can now be cover by the dowel pin:
