Here are some helpful tips for troubleshooting your Arrow Airlift:

1. Spray lift with WD-40 and let the lubricant sit for a few minutes before trying the lift again. You will want to spray the lift in the following areas:

Ball Bearings found at the top of the lift assembly

Airlift Black Boxes (3 total) Spray the boxes you can see

Sides of the Airlift

Area next to the pin (the pin is on a spring hinge and moves in/out of the black boxes when you press with downward force on the platform)

You are encouraged to lubricate an airlift. We use a spray such as WD-40 to lube the pin, black boxes, airlift sides and roller wheels on the side of the airlift. Apply lube, move the airlift into each position, then wipe off excess lubricant. You may need to do this occasionally especially in the winter when the air is dry

If your lift is still not moving, move onto the next steps:

2. Check for clearance on all sides of the platform (some cabinets have metal flanges that may interfere with the platform)

If the platform is catching on the top of the cabinet/metal tabs, you will need to reposition the metal wings on the underside of the platform to get the clearance. Here is a video for assembly of the platform/lift: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4UeX3NKZSk

3. Look down from the top of the cabinet down onto the top of the lift, make sure the metal pin is not sitting on top of the black box. Photo below shows how your pin should look:

4. Does your platform move if you pull the black knob toward you and push down on the platform? It is possible the lift is just "stuck" and needs to be reset. In the middle of your lift assembly under the platform between the metal wings, you should have a silver pin or black knob. Pull the pin toward you and you should hear pop/release sound. You only need to pull the pin toward you and release. The pin moves automatically through the black boxes on the lift when you press down with force on the platform.

5. Loosen the ball bearings. The Arrow lift has two sets of adjustable nuts to modify the tension on the cable pulleys. You will want to slightly loosen one side of the air lift first.

Start with the right side, slightly loosen the two nut bolts on the airlift. Try pressing down on the platform again. You will want to keep an eye on the platform, if you over loosen the nut bolts, the platform may wobble back and forth (you'll need to slightly tighten the nuts back up to stabilize the platform). Slightly loosen the left side and try pressing down on the platform again.

6. Lastly, check your black boxes for any damage and ensure they are not loose. If you need to tighten the black boxes, use an adjustable wrench or 8mm socket wrench.
